Figure D shows a Standard Design Cross Section. From the catch line to the slope line the maximum angle shall be 1 over 2. The sidewalk slope shall be 2 percent with runoff towards the planting strip. The tree shall be at least 3.5 feet behind the curb face in the landscape/furniture zone. The curb shall be 6 inches. The roadway will show the pavement and the crown which shall have a 2 percent slope to the gutter. The standard design cross section will show the street right-of-way, the sidewalk, planting strip, and gutter, any street trees on both sides of the street. The standard design cross section must also include the existing grade with a dashed line.
